What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night crew clerk position at Town & Country Market?
Summary : Stock, rotate, and replenish product to shelves and maintain displays. Process deliveries, breaking load down onto U-boats and transferring to sales floor.
Maintain clean work areas by consolidating and organizing product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Grocery Clerk activities :
- Assists customers
- Stocks merchandise
- Faces merchandise in the store
- Answers calls for price checks
- Cuts open boxes with a box cutter
- Loads carts with stock for the store floor
- Operates baler
- Operates trash compactor
Other activities :
- Checks doors for security
- Checks floors for cleanliness
- Builds displays
- Orders merchandise
- Operates lift
Minimum Requirements : A positive customer service 2 & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand eye coordination, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.
Work environment : Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes
