Town Hall Burger and Beer is actively interviewing candidates for the position of Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our team.
We are looking to staff multiple locations across the triangle.
The FOH Manager assists the General Manager (GM) to ensure success in all aspects of the restaurant and achieve maximum guest satisfaction. The FOH Manager must have a passion for the hospitality industry and for enhancing and maintaining high production and productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Experience and skill in both FOH and BOH operations is essential to success in this position. Full time assistance with staffing, cost control and waste minimization is necessary to ensure the success of the restaurant. Focused, full-time commitment to all restaurant operations is key to success.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in interviews and selection, training, supervision, counseling, and discipline of restaurant staff.
- Assist the GM in organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating low or 86 items to staff.
- Responsible for scheduling all FOH staff.
- Responsible for Beer and Wine inventory and ordering.
- Responsible for soft drink beverage and paper goods ordering.
- Interact positively with customers to promote the restaurant facilities and services.
- Move throughout dining and kitchen areas to visually monitor food and take action to ensure the quality and service standards are being met.
- Complete knowledge of restaurant operations including: food and beverage, supervisory demands, service techniques, employee development, problem resolution and guest interactions.
- Ensure risk management programs to ensure that adequate safety measures are in effect to protect guests and employees.
- Support disaster and emergency plans. Ensuring all personnel are trained and rehearsed in correct and emergency procedures.
- Keep the GM and owner informed on important operating matters and issues.

Requirements:
- ServSafe Certified in all service and production stations.
- Cicerone certification.
- Understanding of procedures, state laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Positive, motivating communication skills, strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Able to work in excess of 50 hours per week while standing, walking and stretching.
- Able to lift, carry, push and pull 30 pounds.
- Able to listen, understand, and respond professionally to guests/employees inquiries and concerns.
