What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway Worker position at Town of Andover?
The Town of Andover is seeking a full-time highway worker. The position requires the ability to participate in a variety of public works projects including plowing, mowing, maintenance of town roads and culverts, and other public works projects. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). They must have the ability to work with hand tools, move in awkward spaces and uneven terrain, and meet the demands of a municipal road maintenance schedule. The ideal candidate will live within 30 minutes of Andover. The position reports to the highway supervisor/road agent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
