What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician I - Part Time position at Town of Davie?
Under direct supervision, performs semi-skilled and unskilled work in the maintenance and construction needs of a Town Department. Is responsible for a variety of labor-intensive tasks in an assigned area. Reports to a fore person-level supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:REQUIRED:
- Graduation from high school.
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in labor intensive maintenance work.
- Any combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
REQUIRED:
A valid driver's license.
PREFERRED:
A valid Class "A" or "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the State of Florida.
- Work schedule will be primarily on weekends (Friday 2pm-7-pm, Saturday 9am-6:30pm and Sunday 7:30am-5pm)
- Work location is primarily outside assisting with sport field and park preparation and maintenance.
- This position reports to the Park Ranger Supervisor.
- If selected to move forward in the hiring process, you will be required to obtain and submit your lifetime driving history record.
