Position Summary
The LPN is responsible for the supervision of total nursing activities during each shift and supervising nursing care given to residents within the scope of practice.
Additional Duties
- Responsible for administering medications and treatment, maintaining proper charting in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of resident care through quality nursing.
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident, family, and staff.
Qualifications
- LPN license in Indiana
- Knowledge of medical language and terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic understanding of standard computer systems and office equipment
