Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented housekeeping professional to join our management team! Our priorities for this position include not only the maintenance of some very tough cleanliness standards, as set out by our brand, but an equal emphasis on associate development and satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position

The individual selected would be responsible to hire, develop and schedule between 15 and 20 full and part-time employees Other duties would include completion of various reports, inventory control, lost and found, and other duties as a member of the hotel's management team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be highly motivated. Requirements:

• A minimum of 2  consecutive years in Housekeeping management in a full service hotel required.

• Experience in supervising a commercial laundry facility strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse workforce, and success in people development.

• Up to date knowledge of OSHA requirements, including HazCom and Blood Borne Pathogen standards.

• Hilton Brand experience

• Proven record of independent, self-motivated work habits.

• Ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Execute reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ability to focus on the big picture as well as individual results.

• History of superior controls and financial performance.

• Excellent relationship building skills.

• Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices and pre-established guidelines and procedures.

• Strong HR knowledge including hiring, firing, training, counseling and developing associates.
