The Township Clerk’s Department in Cranford is seeking an energetic, organized and computer-proficient professional (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook) to work in the busy Township Clerk’s Office.
The position requires 1) frequent contact with members of the public and residents, 2) processing incoming and outgoing mail (US Post, UPS and Fed Ex), 3) handling sensitive and confidential information, 4) responding to public information requests (OPRA’s), 5) processing raffles, licenses and insurance claims and 6) assisting the Township Clerk’s staff with various office functions and election responsibilities.
Municipal government experience preferred; seventeen (17) hours a week. Nonunion position with a starting salary of $20/hour.
