Human Resources Operations Specialist - Remote

The HR Operations Specialist is a key member of a very cohesive (and fun) four-person payroll team responsible for processing payroll for the entire company. In this role, you will work directly with leaders throughout Townsquare providing guidance and information on payroll related matters and Townsquare policies. Ideally, you will be based in the vicinity of one of our 66 market locations, but this role can be performed remotely. This role requires someone with high accountability who appreciates the importance of paying employees correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing Semi Monthly Payrolls for multiple states
  • Preparation of the Regions onboarding, payroll and employee files
  • Communicating with Market Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents and Hiring managers on a daily basis regarding new hires, terminations, pay changes, offer letters and any other general questions as they arise
  • Generating monthly and quarterly reports for accounting/finance/HR departments and other ad hoc reports as needed
  • Effectively address employee HRIS issues
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Assisting with Exit paperwork
  • and other such other duties assigned to you by your supervisor or the Company

Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail and very organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to adhere to tight deadlines and to have the ability to anticipate important issues that may impact payroll process
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently on projects as well as part of a project team
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Proven ability to multi-task and take initiative, as needed
