Description
POSITION SUMMARY Maintain the service drive and parking facility for the Service Department customer vehicles.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the Service Department parking area to allow customers easy access to the Service area.
- Park customer vehicles dropped off for repairs or estimates.
- Complete a check-in report for each vehicle dropped off for repairs.
- Document any old/unrelated damage on the vehicle. Document mileage and place a mirror tag and floor mat in each vehicle.
- Assist technicians in moving vehicles in and out of the shop area.
- Ensure all vehicles are secure and locked each night.
- Complete final checklist report on completed vehicles to ensure quality of repairs.
- Make management aware of any problems that arise on final inspection to ensure any problems are corrected prior to delivery of the vehicle to the customer.
- Deliver customer vehicles from parking lot to the cashier at time of pick up.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of vehicles when needed.

EDUCATION / SKILLS EXPERIENCE
- 1 year’s equivalent experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone and in writing as well as strong interpersonal and customer services skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with highly confidential information appropriately in a fast-paced environment required.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff though-out the organization required.

SEDENTARY (requires lifting 5 lbs., carrying small objects)
LIGHT (requires lifting 20 lbs., with frequent carrying of up to 20 lbs.)
