Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Accounting and Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cost Management Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support manufacturing in all cost management areas of the plant.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Accounting & Finance, the person in this role will support the Accounting and Finance department's objective to monitor, develop, promote cost reduction activities and to meet company KPIs.
What you’ll be doing
Analyst will assist in the development of budgets and forecasts and manages the budget process.
Be responsible for month end close activities for assigned areas / shops.
Support Parts Physical Inventory, General Stores Audits and fixed assets inventory annually.
Work with large amounts of detailed transactions originating from various software applications and databases.
Analyzes variances in data and works with areas to determine root cause of variance and necessary countermeasures needing implementation.
Analyst will need to understand the difference between variable & fixed costs, gentan-i & rate, and capital and operating costs.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or equivalent related work experience
3-5 years’ professional experience in accounting or finance
2 years in Leading Projects/initiatives
Experience working with a team to solve problems.
Must be technically competent in graphing and charting.
Self-motivated to proactively identify and investigate variances with production engineers and production group leaders and management.
Added bonus if you have
Knowledge of FMDS, JKK, TBP
Manufacturing company experience beneficial
Strong communication and leadership skills are preferred in order to effectively manage and lead projects with related departments
