Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Business Planning Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst of Strategic Business Planning.
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) Executive Team to develop plant-wide strategy and to set the decision framework to bring that strategy to reality.
Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, the person in this role will support the leadership team’s objective to set the North Star for Toyota Battery Manufacturing as the first plant of its kind in Toyota.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the TBMNC business objectives (business planning, hoshin) process for the President and Executive Team.
- Supporting secretarial responsibilities for the Executive Committee, developing the agenda, issuing minutes, and assuring follow-up on results.
- Leading special projects with the leadership team, working with Toyota North America Members, and coordinating cross-functional and cross-plant projects.
- Supporting complex administrative matters with the President of TBMNC and the leadership team (external presentations, talent development, VIP visits, etc.)
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry, consulting, or other large-scale industries.
- Experience working collaboratively across core company departments (Sales, Manufacturing, Research, Development, etc.).
- Strategic and business planning skills. Ability to do complex analysis, and provide insights and strategic perspectives.
- Demonstrated skills to constructively communicate with company top management levels.
- Strong project management capability.
- Ability and willingness to travel: domestic travel with some travel to Japan required.
- Ability to network.
- Self-sufficient, intuitive, and flexible.
Added bonus if you have
- Exposure and experience directly supporting Senior Executives.
- Experience in Battery Manufacturing or Research and Development.

Salary : $91,200 - $115,000
