Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Operations Administrator.
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain Job Data Administration (JDA) and Position Data Administration (PDA) in the areas of data integrity, data sharing, and team member records administration for Toyota Battery Manufacturing, North Carolina (TBMNC).
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the person in this role will support the HR department's objective to put our customers first and deliver exceptional customer support and service.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and be a task-oriented self-starter with drive – an energized and motivated go-getter!
What you’ll be doing
- Workday position management and data integrity:
- Manage and maintain Job Data Administration and Position Data Administration in areas of data integrity, data sharing, and team member records administration.
- Processing of all staffing forms for New Hires, Reports to Changes, Shift Swaps, Transfers to Cost Centers, and Cost Center and Division Tree management.
- Manage Data Integrity for Job Data and Position Data in Workday.
- Maintain all staffing documents and records in compliance with SOX and legal standards.
- Ensure New Hires have completed all required documentation, including but not limited to I-9 compliance.
- Run ad hoc reports, manage projects, and complete other job assignments as assigned.
- Create requisitions and pay invoices.
- Manage background check process.
- Assist with Co-op New Hire Program.
- Work with payroll to resolve any data discrepancies.
- Develop operational procedures.
What you bring
- High school diploma with experience in high-volume manufacturing staffing.
- Experience in a Human Resources support role.
- Prior experience in Workday HR.
- Knowledge of HR processes and laws governing employment record keeping.
- Ability to recognize inconsistent data collection and incomplete processing.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis, identify problems, and recommend solutions via written proposal.
- Ability to create and maintain project schedules to ensure that goals, targets, and results are clearly visualized.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, supporting a variety of assignments.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related field.
