Who we are looking for
Toyota's newest manufacturing facility, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC), is looking for an enthusiastic and initiative-taking Maintenance Analyst.
Prior to starting battery production, this person will work to support the establishment of TBMNC Maintenance planned work. Supporting the vision to continuously improve maintenance performance; leveraging productivity to ensure reliable production capacity. This role will collaborate with Maintenance Management, creating the framework for efficient planned work, including safety, work prioritization, and scheduling.
After starting battery production, this person will plan to utilize maintenance data to include change management, work order management, preventative/predictive failure reporting, spare part readiness, and budget management. There will be a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration with Production and Engineering in this role.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with the Production and Maintenance Team to create work plans. (Periodic, Preventive, Predictive, and Ownership Maintenance).
- Responsible for work scheduling; coordinating high-frequency shutdown jobs/resource planning and forecast; and budget management.
- Plan work in compliance with safety and quality procedures.
- Ensure availability of spare parts, equipment, special tools, chemicals, etc. to perform the work.
- Utilize information from maintenance to improve work efficiency, productivity, and key performance indicators.
- Plan work to maximize opportunities to perform maintenance work during line stops. Failure reporting follow-up and changepoint management.
- This position will interact with Production, Engineering, Contractors, Vendors, and other departments.
What you bring
- High School diploma/GED or higher education.
- Experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment, military experience, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Added bonus if you have
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience (Maximo, SAP, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Project, etc.
- Project planning and/or management experience.
- Power BI or other reporting tools.
