Who we're looking for
Toyota's Production Strategy team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated,and highly organized Sr Analyst to join our team.
Reporting to the Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to spearhead the team's goal to improve business conditions through mid-to-long-term supply chain efficiency, capacity utilization/optimization, production flexibility, and overall cost competitiveness.
What you'll be doing
1.) Essential Responsibilities:
- Creation of strategy for core activities: develop a plan of action for assigned projects and tasks to ensure timely execution with quality built-in.
- Cross-functional daily coordination: lead multiple stakeholders (including various Toyota functions, suppliers, and global headquarters) through project activities to achieve KPIs.
- Summary and escalation: clear and concise visualization and presentation of project condition, risk, and outlook to project stakeholders including executives.
- Problem-solving: organize working groups to gather information, utilize strong analytical thinking, and prepare insights and recommendations for decisions.
- Process standardization: support department in the development and execution of Standard Operating Procedures; propose and implement process improvements.
- Team lead: leading and mentoring analysts supporting projects, providing guidance and mentoring.
2.) Typical activities:
- Development of mid-long term commodity strategy for manufacturing process
- Make v buy and capacity management: creating a plan of study, doing quantitative and qualitative analysis, creating a proposal, and setting direction.
- Daily management of project/study schedule and milestones: creation, coordination, and tracking.
- Understanding and visualization of project status, potential risks, and action plans.
- Annual volume confirmation and countermeasure development
3.) Technical work:
- RMBSS Processing: determine appropriate final MvB condition and process appropriate documentation for downstream system communications to related groups
- Emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (business or engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience coordinating complex cross-functional projects with demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs. (2 years)
- Self-driven, independent work experience effectively managing multiple short and long-term tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), ability to deliver complex information clearly and concisely across cultures and organizational boundaries.
- Critical thinking, identifying risks/gaps, generating potential solutions, and evaluating impact.
- Fluent usage of MS Office: Excel (formulas, charts/graphs) and PPT (building presentations).
- Ability to Travel (approx. 10%).
- Ability to work overtime (approx. 10%).
Added bonus if you have
- Experience in the supply chain, manufacturing planning and operations, and/or manufacturing costing, preferably in the automotive industry. (2 years)
- Work experience at Toyota, with TBP & JKK (Through Panel). (2 years)
- Proven problem-solving and process improvement experience and/or training.
- Power BI experience.
- Advanced Excel (macros, V-look-up, pivot tables).
- Professional certifications (PMP, Lean Sigma, Scrum Master).
