What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant - Scheduler position at TPA?

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating and scheduling hearings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions and inspections.
  • Draft’s Notice of Hearings, Subpoenas and Notice of Taking Depositions.
  • E-Filing and E-Service
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Constant communication with OC’s, JA’s, LC’s, court reporters and clients
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • 1-2 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm setting.
  • Complete knowledge of the court system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

· Commitment to excellence and high standards.

· Proficiency on Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is a must.

· Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

· Must have superior organizational skills.

· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing

priorities with enthusiasm.

· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish

· Professional appearance and demeanor
