Job overview
Be responsible for the setup, clearing and cleanliness of restaurant area and tables, deliver food correctly to the customers who ordered it in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures.
What you will be doing
- Remove dirty, glasses, dinner dishes and silverware from occupied tables.
- Clear empty tables of linens, dishes and debris and place items in proper areas. Reset the tables.
- Clean highchairs and booster seats after each use.
- Carry trays of dirty dishes to dish room and break down trays according to the procedures.
- Ensure window/glass surfaces are spotless.
- Clean service stations and fill ice bins.
- Assist servers with all aspects of service as requested.
- Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately.
- Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
- Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school education
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
- Ability to properly use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills.
