The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing bidding and administrative support for the sales arm of the Company. They work closely with operations, human resources, payroll and accounting to prepare bids, launch new jobs, and maintains communication effectively for the targeted audience. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilitates the janitorial bid estimation and submission process.
Prepare job cost analysis and compare to budgets.
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
Prepare reports and analysis for management.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Responsible for general ledger including preparation and recording of journal entries.
Maintain Fixed Asset and depreciation schedules.
Maintain bank accounts and reconciliations.
Month end and Year end close process.
Financial and research analysis.
Prepare annual financial budgets.
Prepare work papers and schedules for all balance sheet accounts.
Facilitate with annual audit process for companies.
Adhere to all applicable safety practices.
Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
Other duties as assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business. Will consider experience in lieu of education.
Strong math, data entry skills and analytical thinker
Microsoft Office (strong emphasis in Word & Excel). Familiarity with Google suites a plus
Contract management experience a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasional lifting from 5 - 30 lbs., unassisted (from 0 - 15% of the time)
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
The ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary
