The Area Catering Sales Manager is responsible for promoting, selling, booking, and coordinating various events including conventions, social events, corporate meetings, off-sites, non-profit fundraisers, bars, and hotel blocks.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong ability to effectively communicate. The Area Catering Sales Manager must be able to work independently, have the ability to identify and execute the smallest of details and do it all with the professionalism and passion necessary to exceed the guest’s expectations. Essential Job Expectations:

• Create, enhance and maintain strong client relationships that will assist in exceeding every guest’s expectations
• Work closely with your supervisor and other sales associates to achieve or exceed the expectations of your property’s sales department
• Clearly understand and hold yourself accountable for the expectations of the Area Catering Sales Manager position
• Treat the hotels and conference centers as if they were your own
• Assist in providing a safe, healthy environment for all guests and associates
• Assure that your daily actions and decision-making reflect TPI’s nine core values
