Summary
The Senior Account Executive serves as liaison between client and creative; develops relationships with clients and acts as a key resource for them; helps clients to plan, develop and execute strategic, business/brand-building initiatives; handles and manages client contact/communication; ensures flawless execution of project work and owns delegated projects with minimal assistance; manages account finances; maintains knowledge of industry and competitive trends. Additionally, there may be an opportunity for the Senior Account Executive to help develop and coach Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives. 

Core Accountabilities
  • Coordinates accurate and efficient collaboration by bringing all groups together to form smart, strategic and tactical programming, creative, digital and social efforts for clients
  • Understands available and appropriate retail marketing tools and tactics to effectively reach target market for all initiatives
  • Knowledge of technical aspects and techniques related to creative, digital and social media and production
  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic digital initiatives, including but not limited to:  digital, social media and influencer marketing campaigns, retail connected experiences, mobile, digital commerce, couponing/ digital incentives and video/app content development 
  • Plays an active role in developing/maintaining client relationships
  • Develops, manages and executes client programs including, but not limited to, the following activities:
    • Initiating projects with clients and gathering appropriate information and drafts project briefs
    • Preparation of and leading project kick-offs and brainstorms
    • Provides accurate and complete direction to creative, production and planning via standard forms (job starts, change orders, mechanical orders)
    • Preparation of and management of all digital, social and/or influencer kick offs as well as management of digital/social programs
    • Provides insightful and constructive input on creative
    • Delegation and management of larger projects within the team
    • Timeline and budget development/ maintenance
    • Vendor communication, meetings and management
    • On-time delivery of materials to clients and vendors
  • Supports Manager in development/application of objectives, strategies, background, competitive activity of client work
  • Develops and initiates decks and client presentations
  • Financial management (estimating time and costs, written estimates, cost-to-dates/tracking, invoices) to ensure the agency is profitable
  • Assists with new business pitches when requested
  • Assists Manager in recognizing and acquiring new business and organic growth
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of new and emerging digital trends as they relate to the following: Social Media, Social Advertising, Influencers, Digital Advertising, Google Analytics, Digital and Social Promotions, Mobile Apps, Ecommerce, and Retailer-specific.

    • Stays abreast of digital trends and best practices and communicates those to the internal team and clients

Requirements
  • Years’ Experience: 4-6 years working in an agency marketing to/with Walmart and other retailers
  • Education: Four-Year Degree
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
