JOB OVERVIEW:
We are currently searching for a technical copywriter who is dedicated to immersing themselves in the blockchain space and who is capable of turning complex ideas into creative, compelling, and easy-to-understand marketing materials and original content. Copywriters will work with others to understand project goals and parameters, produce content with the needs of the client or employer in mind, participate in the brainstorming process, and conduct research to develop or support writing.
To be a successful copywriter, you should have exceptional writing and research skills and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of clients or companies. You should be creative, motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write copy for a variety of media including social, landing pages, websites, digital ads, emails, print, video, other
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
- Collaborate with creative director, designers, project management, and marketing to assess project needs and help define messaging
- Listen and understand what is at the heart of client feedback and revise work accordingly
- Drive brand consistency across all communications
- Develop and implement brand guidelines for copywriting
- Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
- See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passionate about blockchain, Tezos & marketing
- 3-5 years experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agency
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent
- Ability to translate complex technological solutions into digestible pieces of information that are easily understood by the general population
- Proven ability to write digital content and copy with a high level understanding of SEO and other digital marketing best practices.
- Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Proven ability to weave brand voice across multiple platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent portfolio of work
