As a new Sales Manager for TQL, you will be leading a mid-to-large team of highly motivated logistics sales representatives, responsible for driving revenue and providing unmatched service to our customers. What you’ll be doing:
- Driving revenue through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps
- Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training entry-level sales reps
- Assisting sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue
- Holding the team accountable for daily activity and results
- Ensuring employees maintain the highest level of integrity
- Coordinating the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business
- Occasional travel to meet with prospects and customers
- Monitoring sales reports, acting as needed, and communicating trends and market conditions to senior leadership
- Working with the Learning and Development department to help maintain and continuously enhance sales training programs
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of sales management experience; preferably leading a team of 10
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Transportation or business services industry experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach, lead and motivate others
- Ability to be on call 24/7/365
- Open to relocation throughout your career if needed
- Capable of providing strong professional references – customer, superior, peer and direct-report
