Job Description
Main Purpose
The Pricing Specialist conducts, oversees, organizes and completes all billing and data entry of customers, uses tact while handling those customers as well as personnel. The Billing Clerk must be accurate in all duties performed.
Key job responsibilities
- Maintenance and integrity of the contract pricing database.
- Processing requests for pricing updates, resolution of quality notifications, CRM quote approvals, training and support to Users.
- Maintaining the Company’s list pricing and surcharge schedule within the pricing modules
- Assisting Sales Management with regular price review, price increase projects and furnishing various ad hoc sales reports for analysis
- Work closely with several internal Tradebe customers and will provide support to other Sales Administration teammates when needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Systems Applications or Science discipline is preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Must possess intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills (at a minimum proficient with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables and advanced formatting skills)
- ERP system experience is a plus, SAP is preferred
- Knowledge of industry pricing methods, contract types, and an understanding of basic metrics such as rates, ratios, margins and related calculations
- Detail oriented and organized; and must possess a willingness to follow management issued guidelines and company best practices
- Must be methodical, committed, have a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and drive to deliver executional excellence.
