Job Description
Tradeco Construction is currently seeking Solar Installers for projects near Seneca Falls New York.
Must reside in one of the following counties - Senca, Ontario, Wayne, Yates, Cayuga, Schuyler, Monroe or Tompkins.
As an Installer, you will be responsible for day-to-day field installation of mechanical hardware, racking components, wiring assemblies, and solar modules.
Must be able to work 40-60hrs./week (weather permitting)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in PV installations, general construction, or carpentry strongly preferred.
- Experience with the safe use of handheld and power tools
- Interest in safety is a must; OSHA 10 preferred (we can assist with this)
- Must be able to work in extreme weather/field conditions including cold, wet, & muddy
- Must be able to lift 50Lbs.

Safety: First off, we provide health insurance benefits for two reasons: a. It’s the right thing to do to find and retain top talent. b. It keeps employees without insurance from making false claims on the job when in fact they were injured elsewhere. Second, we drug test randomly. Many other companies only drug test pre-employment which does not ensure they won’t abuse drugs later in their career. Third, we put all new hires through a comprehensive safety orientation and provide needed safety equipment.
