Job Description:

The Channel Insights Manager will have the responsibility of finding insights for Traeger’s channels, namely its media and retail channels.

This person will be a specialist within the organization that deeply understands media strategy (gross rating points, return on ad investment), customer metrics (lifetime value, customer service scoring), and pair this with the ability to build out models and dashboards. A strong business acumen is also necessary in this role. This role will be located and based in Salt Lake City, UT.

How you'll help us win:

General

• Successfully find insights in disparate sets of quantitative and qualitative data
• Build out both historical and predictive models
• Guide the investment model for media and retail channels

In your first six months, you will:

Media Attribution

• Build a marketing tracking and attribution model for all media (TV, radio, outdoor, digital, etc.)
• Model out long-term impacts of media investment in terms of revenue, profitability, and other financial metrics
• Build a dashboard for lifetime value, brand lift, online reviews, and other interrelated metrics

Retail Tracking

• Successfully use sales data by retailer to understand impacts of co-op or promotional investment (IRI, 84.51)
• Set up, track, and report on KPIs by retailer
• Clear understanding of the retail business model where recommendations can be implemented quickly

Discrete Projects

• Analyze the impact of promotions and pricing across channels
• Customer experience mapping of key metrics through an online dashboard
• Other projects as needed

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of full-time relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Data visualization (Tableau, Domo, Power BI)
• Media measurement experience (Nielsen, Kantar)
• Sales data (84.51, IRI)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Comfort in written and verbal communication with executives

Successful candidates will likely come from media measurement companies, advertising or media agencies, or from similar roles in an adjacent category.
