Your Part in It:
Working out of our Canadian headquarters in the West-Island of Montreal, we are looking for our next Export Coordinator who is responsible for making sure the movement of freight across the globe is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customer’s needs.
Working directly with our expanding International team, we teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology. Our rapid company growth requires that we constantly add motivated, enthusiastic individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service.
EXPORT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
What the Job Entails:
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation and movement of the goods for export
- Prepare shipping instructions and any other necessary legal documents required for export: bill of lading, Federal Drug Association, B13 ticket, certificate of origin, legalization, fumigation etc.
- Communicate and coordinate with Sea freight carriers, co-loaders, intermodal departments, truckers, customs brokers and other service providers
- Resolve problems and provide ongoing support to internal/external customers
- Enter all cost and sell rates as soon as file is opened and prior vessel departure to ensure file profitability and on time billing
- Monitor holds or discrepancies in the movement of goods
- Proactive response to service issues
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international export procedures
- Strong operational knowledge and analytical skills in the Operations field
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and applications; ability/interest to learn new systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details and excellent organizational skills
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
- Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun!

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday
Traffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities. For example, upon arrival masks are mandatory, employees are greeted by our in-house full-time health screeners, social distancing is maintained in all common areas (6ft/2m), hand sanitizer stations are strategically spaced out around the office, there is a restricted flow of traffic within the office to avoid interdepartmental spreads or outbreaks, and increased cleaning of all office spaces and warehouses.
