Paradise Rental Boats at Park Marina are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team in providing an exceptional experience to boat renters, marina members, and guests.
The position being filled is Boat Rental Store Clerk. Employees will help provide coverage on the gas dock. The positions is Seasonal and last through October.
Ideal candidates for the position is at least 16 years old, have a passion for helping people, demonstrate great communication skills, are detail-oriented and enjoy working as a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. They are available to work weekends, especially holiday weekends, and excited to work 20-40 hours each week.
Boat Rental Store Clerk:
- Assists callers with boat rental information and booking boat rental reservations.
- Checks-in guests for their boat rental.
- Assists guests inside the gift shop.
- Handles cash and card transactions while operating a Point-of-Sale register and a fuel console in the gift shop.
- Helps keep the gift shop stocked and organized.
Gas Dock Coverage:
- Assists boaters as they dock to get fuel, visit the gift shop, or use the pump out machine.
- Assists boaters as they depart from the dock.
- Ensures boats depart in a timely manner to avoid congestion.
- Keeps fuel hoses reeled in and out of the walkway.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a cashier or in a customer service role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift objects of 25 pounds or more
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Must be able to swim
