We are actively looking for a construction mechanic trainee to join our team based out of York, PA. This is a great opportunity for an individual to come and get trained on various construction equipment and diesel vehicles.

 
Major Job Elements
  • Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles, pickups, light & medium dump trucks, Aerial Equipment
  • Hydraulic and engine repairs
  • Air brake repairs
  • Chassis repairs
  • Repair of general construction equipment, air compressors, backhoes, etc.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, and work in awkward positions.
  • Attention to detail, and a drive to safely do what it takes to get the job done desired.
  • Desire to learn the diversified career path of a construction mechanic.
  • Good analytical skills desired.
  • Willingness to acquire hand held trade tools.
  • Clean driving record with ability to obtain a future CDL.
  • Some prior mechanical background helpful.
