Job Posting for Quality Control Coordinator at Training, Rehabilitation & Development
Responsible for providing a safe and positive teamwork environment in support of the organization’s objectives, mission and core values to provide employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities.
Accountable for expanding the TRDI brand by sustaining current and future growth opportunities by procuring customers, products and services offered by Non-Profit Agencies.
Defines and maintains quality management standards, processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) throughout the organization.
Develops, implements and manages a comprehensive quality control plan to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and alignment to established industry best practices for quality assurance (e.g. ISO9001).
Establishes and maintains internal controls, audit processes and documentation procedures to ensure ongoing adherence to standards.
Conducts regular job site visits to evaluate quality control systems and processes, identify gaps and deficiencies and recommend action plans.
Identifies relevant quality-related training needs and facilitates or delivers training to staff as appropriate across all job sites.
Monitors and reports on quality initiatives and informs key stakeholders of quality issues and potential risks; recommends and influences changes and improvements to drive operational excellence.
Follows all labor laws, regulatory and employment requirements and collaborates with senior leadership to monitor and enforce the requirements of the AbilityOne program.
Consults with Human Resources to take any employee corrective action as necessary and on a timely basis and in accordance with the organization’s policy and consistent process.
Continually updates job knowledge and evaluates internal quality systems, procedures and processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Participates in conferences and educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains professional networks; and represents the organization in the community

Advanced knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
Advanced knowledge of quality assurance and control systems, tools and best practices. Familiarity with auditing to ISO9001 preferred
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
