Job Description

This role sits within our Finance Systems team and is focussed on delivering high quality service administering key day-to-day tasks across Finance, particularly within our Dovico timesheet system, D365 Finance systems and Concur expenses system. This is an area of focussed improvement and you will be required to be organised, adaptable and quick to resolve queries from the development and finance teams.

The role is based in Edinburgh working closely with the Finance Systems Administrator and Specialist, the Financial Control Team and the development teams in London.

Responsibilities

The role will have administration level access to the suite of finance systems including, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Concur expenses system and Dovico time sheeting system.

  • Creation/Deactivation of users for all systems across Finance Systems
  • Manage function and reporting line changes across multiple systems
  • Add/Amend/ Close project codes for our Fixed Asset module
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Workflows across multiple Finance systems
  • Journal troubleshooting within our Finance System
  • Investigate Finance Reporting failures
  • Maintain Microsoft and other partners licenses
  • RDP in Cloud Hosted environments and internal servers where required
  • Complete month end procedures within the Finance Systems team and provide general support to accounting teams
  • General systems maintenance/cleaning procedures
  • Providing day to day support via JIRA board
  • Resolution of connectivity/data accuracy issues for PowerBi

Qualifications

  • Competent knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in using finance / ERP systems (desirable)
  • General understanding of accountancy processes
  • Ability to organise with strong attention to detail
  • Good administration skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage own workload through to completion
  • Pro-active willingness to learn attitude.
  • Good operator and ability to work with individuals across all parts of the business.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
