- Planning and Scheduling:
- Review and oversee planning functions to ensure effective management of order intake and delivery.
- Develop plans according to forecasts and sales orders.
- Create and manage weekly production schedules.
- Customer Management:
- Manage customer orders to ensure accuracy and responsiveness.
- Communicate delivery times and delays to customers.
- Serve as the point of contact for order inquiries and status updates.
- Inventory and ERP Management:
- Manage ERP inventory planning level demands.
- Review and maintain inventory via cycle count results and analysis.
- Review and correct transaction errors.
- Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, production, distribution, and purchasing teams to address supply chain issues.
- Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in materials planning, scheduling, logistics, or supply chain.
- Proficiency with an ERP system and high-level Excel skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a related field.
- Experience with excursion planning or plastics; experience in food or chemicals is also considered.
