Job Summary:
This role is responsible for designing and delivering product and program training for key stakeholders connected to the Residential HVAC & Supply Business. Reporting to the Sr. Learning Manager, this role will leverage technology and the organization’s digital learning platforms to deliver engaging and effective content that prepares key stakeholders to deliver on business goals.
This individual will be an expert at synthesizing complex information and presenting in a way that is tangible, memorable and effective. They will acquire and maintain subject matter expertise and will have a deep understanding of audience needs to tailor content and provide training in the most effective medium for each audience.
An out of the box thinker, they will also create unique experiences for development and bringing our facilities and culture to life.
This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Learning Management System, podcast platform, learning experience platform and any other digital training tools. They will market digital learning through social media, email, and texts for learners and measures impact of training.
Responsibilities:
Assess, design and develop digital learning programs
Research, select and modify existing training programs, content and materials to meet learning needs
Evaluate learning approaches and make effective design decisions given learning parameters
Manage digitally-delivered training and experiential solutions, including working with both existing Trane Technologies content and content created by training vendors
Leverage learning technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, deliver and track training (eLearning, Video, Podcasts, Micro-Learning, Virtual learning, Instructor Led training, etc.)
Develop digital learning content in collaboration with other team members, vendors, and/or subject-matter experts using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Audacity, Premiere, Cloud Based tools or equivalent systems
Manage the Residential HVAC Equipment and Supply Learning Management System and continuously improve the customer experience through the website design and application
Provide support around usage, analysis, and reporting of existing LMS and technology by performing quality assurance checks on content and testing content to monitor proper functionality and communication with the LMS
Market training content to dealers and distributors through various forms of communication (email, text, social media, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Knowledge of effective workforce learning and development methods, including blended learning, on-the-job support, coaching and micro-learning
Strong digital focus and forward thinking regarding digital learning and development efforts
Proven ability to perform needs assessments, align stakeholders and prioritize action
Data analysis and training evaluation capabilities
Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with a team
Strong project management skills; ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines with tight time constraints
Self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage multiple tasks
A continuous improvement mindset
Strong proficiency with Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proficiency with virtual meeting technology: Teams, WebEx
eLearning development
Proficiency utilizing Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe, Camtasia, Audacity, and other authoring tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications but NOT Required:
Master’s degree (IT, MBA, Adult Education, Human Performance Technology, or related)
Instructional design experience.
Knowledge of the HVAC Supply business
LMS administration skills
Experience in launching mobile / micro learning programs
Proficiency with tools for developing videos and podcasts
Experience with html coding
Base Pay Range: $68,000-140,0000 / year
