Minimum Qualifications

- Understanding of Warehouse operations
- Resolves the problems at the lowest level possible
- Follows rules of conduct at all times
- Able to navigate in Oracle with computer and scanner, as required
- Able to understand cycle-count procedures and address discrepancies
- Able to understand and interpret production schedules, sequence sheets and WIP tickets
- Able to prepare/pull material for delivery to assembly areas
- Able to operate a forklift within the stockroom and assembly lines
- Understands what RIP is and it’s locations, as well as deliver parts to correct sites
- Understands the warehouse locater system
Introductory Level: Primary focus is improving the process
- Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)
- Understands, accepts, and supports vision and key business goals
- Supports and demonstrates a well-organized, safe and clean workplace
- Basic understanding, support and commitment to the team and continuous improvement
- Identifies possible solutions when communicating problems
- Ability to learn, understand and adhere to standard work
- Understands the importance of safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Responsive to internal and external customer needs
- Able to complete process improvements and submit for approval.
Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)
- Able to understand impact position has on plant metrics (MPS, OTD, inventory levels, potential overtime)
- Ability to capture changes to standard work and submit changes for approval.
- Start to develop expertise in the following work instructions, as required:
- Cycle Count for Receiving / Stores
- Incoming freight
Receiving Dock:
- Incoming process for receipt traveler
- SOMI process for Receiving / Stores
- Scrap segregation and loading
- Raw material unloading and storage
Issuing/Putting Away Parts:
- Kanban process for move order traveler
- De-Trashing operation
- Yellow card process
- Able to finish training and perform designated path:
Qualified Level: Primary focus is demonstrating process knowledge and contributing to overall process improvements

- Develop working knowledge of area process (receiving, stores and delivery) and complete duties as assigned
- Able to perform and understand all functions listed above without supervision
- Able to train others in all duties for assigned path/responsibility
- Able to demonstrate continuous improvement accomplishments for safety, equipment and quality (procedures)
