Job Summary:
General Construction Site Labor Activities.
Essential Functions:
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
- Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.
- Following instructions from supervisors.
- Assisting tradespeople in their duties.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- Previous construction industry experience.
Training Requirements:
- Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
Experience:
- Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is preferred.
Other Information:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
- Must be able to work in a construction environment including possible inclement weather.
- Must have a valid driver s license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
