Port Chester Importer seeks bright, energetic and dependable employee to join the Import Department. This is a permanent full-time position and the salary is commensurate with experience. Full benefit package included.
Responsibilities include:
- Place new purchase orders
- Daily email communication with the overseas factories
- Compile paperwork for each shipment and forward to the customs broker
- Track all air and sea shipments from origin to the destination
- Put shipments in transit and process receivings
Helpful Experience:
- Familiarity with international logistics
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyses and manipulate data
- Ability to see the bigger picture and understand the business model
- SAP B1 experience
