What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Analyst position at Transeo?
Transeo (we provide software solutions to schools and school districts nationwide) is growing and seeking to hire a Sales Analyst with an emphasis on supporting our sales and marketing teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING FOCUSED ON SALES OPPORTUNITIES AND REVENUE.
THIS ROLE IS BASED IN KANSAS CITY AND REQUIRES AN IN OFFICE PRESENCE 4-5 days per week.
- Your primary data sources will be Salesforce and Pardot.
- Your primary focus is revenue analysis - Sales/Revenue Pipeline, Commissions, Sales Performance, Marketing Performance
- Your secondary focus is sales enablement - Working closely with sales and marketing to ensure a seamless revenue generation process framework.
Reporting to our VP of Sales and Marketing, you will ensure we can tell a factual, transparent and accurate story of our marketing and sales efforts and most importantly results. You will turn data into presentable and consumable reports and dashboards for audiences including the sales and marketing teams, executive leadership and investors.
An ideal candidate has well-rounded CRM and Marketing Automation platform data analysis/presentation experience organizing and manipulating data to produce information and will be focused on executing for business outcomes. We are an agile startup culture and a commitment to pace and execution will be critical.
What you will do
- Assist Sales and Marketing leadership with the automation of reporting of Key Performance Indicators, Commissions, Forecasting, and Geographic Market Trends.
- Assist the sales and marketing team to ensure Salesforce is current with updated and accurate market contacts and information
- Provide support to internal customers for Salesforce and Pardot, creating and evolving custom objects, workflow automations, and processes
- Ensure the integration of Salesforce and Pardot data is seamless and cooperative.
- Develop Reports and Dashboards to create consumable and actionable data driven stories.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational processes and deliver solutions to stakeholders
- Assist the sales team with automation of preparing and editing proposals, contracts, and other sales enablement content
- Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing on Sales Enablement processes and outcomes
- Assist all key stakeholders with process improvement efforts and tools for the sales and marketing teams
- Create and maintain custom of Salesforce and Pardot objects to ease processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Revenue Analysis and Presentation with Salesforce and Pardot (Classic and Lightning) data source experience
- Understanding of software as a service (SaaS) business models
- Ability to communicate effectively with both decision makers and users
- Balance of technical, and creative thinking skills
- Proven ability to work in an agile, startup, fast paced environment
- A minimum of 2 years work experience, preferably in a technical sales operation analysis role
- Proficient in Google Suite (particularly Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google Apps
Preferred Outcomes:
Support the organization providing real time actionable data for sales and marketing as the key technical resource owning and managing the data in Salesforce and Pardot. Ensure the processes are in place and the data is presented to optimize sales and marketing efforts and outcomes. Provide consumable reporting for key stakeholders regarding the health of the sales and marketing efforts.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 plus commensurate with experience. We also provide the following benefits to all employees:
