TransLution Software Consultant

TransLution Software LLC is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our implementation and support team. This is a customer-facing role where excellent communications skills are required.

We are specifically looking for professionals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management software, manufacturing execution software or supply chain logistics software. Degrees in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science and field experience will be considered . Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Software related to inventory, manufacturing and warehouse management is a plus.

An expert skills using MS-SQL is a key requirement and candidates will be subject to a test to evaluate their skills prior to receiving an offer.

The successful candidate will be placed on an accelerated learning and development path with in-depth training on TransLution Software LLC core software products and then staffed on a project team where the learning curve will remain high under the leadership of our Senior Technical & Service Manager.

The long-term objective is to provide you an opportunity to become a TransLution Subject Matter Expert and Lead Implementation Engineer for the full suite of TransLution Supply Chain Solutions.

Job Duties Include

Your initial responsibility will be to quickly master the core TransLution Software LLC then you will be assigned to an experienced TransLution project team responsible for the successful configuration, implementation and support of the TransLution Software LLC Solution including:

· Performing client business and process analysis

· Software configuration based on each client’s requirements

· Leading successful User Acceptance Testing with the client

· Configuration and setting up mobile warehouse devices (scanners, bar code printers, PC’s, etc.)

· Go-live preparation and planning, operator training, go-live and post go-live support and customer care

· Support testing activities during client engagements, use case refinement, execution, and troubleshooting.

· Monitor interfaces, alerts, job logs and take ownership of actions required to resolve issues or make progress on key deliverables (Project focused).

· Provide feedback of implementation and support challenges to product architects and developers to improve product quality.

Job Requirements

A degree, in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics or Computer Science. Other Engineering degrees or equivalent filed experience may be considered.

The successful candidate must:

· be proficient using MS-SQL, creating and trouble-shooting SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. This requirement is focused on strong trouble shooting capabilities, ability to review log files and identify with high probability the root cause for issues.

· be able to use SQL Server Reporting Service or Business Intelligence tools for creation of reports and dashboards.

· have warehouse management or manufacturing software product knowledge and hands-on software implementation experience.

· be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal

· be a driven and resilient individual with exceptional abilities to learn fast, solve problems and take ownership.

· be a US Citizen or have eligibility to legally work in the US is required.

· be able to do some overnight travel.

Candidates with proven knowledge and experience of the following will have preference.

· Warehouse and manufacturing processes for stock receiving, put-away, picking, stock-take, packing, shipping, and recording production and analysis of worker productivity measures,

· Systems used for automation such as man/machine interface, scale integration, IoT, RFID, transportation logistics, 3rd party API integration or EDI,

· Interface with peripheral devices like RF bar code scanners, bar code printers, and mobile devices using Android mobile operating systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
