Job Summary The position serves as support to the employment tax and payroll accounting team, assists with employment tax compliance and serves as a functional focal point payroll accounting matters. Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities: Assist with the employment tax process for various international locations and with preparation of reports for the analysis of tax results. Ensure timely and accurate employment tax reporting and execution of related compliance activities with the tax process. Partner with relocation vendor, review and analyze information and prepare fringe benefit reporting. Prepare corporate payroll accruals, as required, for various plans and assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities. Assist with any internal and external audits and examinations. Understand, interpret and administer the home tax policy and equalization program, including vendor support with the annual tax compliance and equalization process; Understand, interpret and administer the host tax policy, including vendor support with host tax personal income tax compliance and compensation reporting process, including partnering with finance or HR department in international locations. Responsible for preparing and maintaining documentation for standard operating procedures. Participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Finance Experience - 2-4 years in related field (Employment Tax, Global Mobility Tax, Payroll Accounting, General Accounting) Preferred Requirements: Experience - 5-7 years in a combination of all related fields (Expatriate Tax, Global Mobility Tax and Payroll Accounting, General Accounting) If you want to push yourself to great achievement, let Transocean develop your career.
