TransVoyant seeks a demand generation superstar to join its high-performance business development team.  TransVoyant is broadly expanding the sales, marketing, and business development teams to accelerate its rapid growth.  If you are a high energy, fearless business development professional with relentless determination to succeed, we look forward to you joining the team. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary role of the Business Development Representative (BDR) is to drive net new business opportunities into the sales pipeline.  You will leverage telemarketing, email, webinars, social media, conferences, plus whatever additional creative approaches you choose to get the job done. You will be expected to nurture each pipeline opportunity until it is approved for transition to outside sales.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Create a territory plan and execute outbound lead generation so that net new meeting quota is met or exceeded
  • Qualify inbound leads and partner with the marketing team to maximize inbound lead results
  • Develop a working knowledge of TransVoyant’s supply chain software products and solution differentiation for compelling verbal and written messaging
  • Identify and qualify net new opportunities and transition to outside sales
  • Create a strong partnership with outside sales team members and coordinate campaigns, marketing programs, and all efforts associated with net new lead generation
  • Build and maintain target lists
  • Track activities using CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  •  3+ years of experience in a lead generation role with a fast-paced growth company
  • The capacity to professionally and clearly articulate the value proposition of a complex software solution (verbal and written)
  • Experience with CRM and database management tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Salesforce
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with “can do” attitude
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
