Leasing Consultant

Job Description

Transwest Properties is looking for a Leasing Consultant to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will be responsible for leasing new apartments to new residents and assisting with the leasing process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be able to provide excellent customer service. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, the drive to exceed expectations, and the desire to assist our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, assess their needs, and answer questions
• Lease apartments to new and prospective residents
• Create lease contracts, prepare lease agreements and tenants’ rights documents
• Prepare and review lease renewals, assisting the property manager with daily maintenance tasks
• Schedule appointments for apartment tenants, such as moving or replacing light bulbs
• Maintain property records and ensure compliance with lease terms and rental prices
• Coordinate with property management team to ensure smooth move-in procedures and high-quality customer service
• Provide assistance during move-outs (including cleaning and movers)
• Answer incoming calls or emails regarding new applicants or vacant apartments
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in property management preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with strong customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be detail-oriented & well organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
