What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wine & Gift Basket Manager position at Trax Farms?
· Monitor inventory and reorder wines and accessories.
· Quarterly wine shop inventory.
· Create purchase orders for wine reorders.
· Rotate and stock wines.
· Unpack orders
· Pricing, computing margins, and creating employee schedule
· Maintain attractive merchandise displays, cleanliness and organization of wine shop .
· Provide leadership to department staff - Build a knowledgeable, happy team. Set and monitor employee sales goals.
· Plan and co-ordinate wine tasting events and tours. Assist Events Manager with the wine events.
· Plan advertising for monthly flyer, social media, and loyalty savings.
· Review movement reports.
· Process orders and assemble gift baskets and/or shippers.
· Coordinate local basket deliveries with our driver.
· Oversee the transfer of product used in gift basket/shippers and enter customers payment into point of sale system.
· Maintain/order gift basket supplies
· Organize/oversee a team of employees during the holiday months for basket production and delivery.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must pass a criminal background check with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
- Photo ID must be registered with PLCB and Arrowhead Winery owners.
- Candidate must successfully complete an orientation program with RAMP—Responsible Alcohol Management Program.
- Attend a brief orientation with the Arrowhead owners located near Northeast, P
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer skills required. Experience in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Desire and ability to provide quality customer service and to work well with both employees and store management.
- Creativity to design attractive gift baskets and to develop new selections as needed
- Excellent sales and organizational skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 30 lbs., stand for 8 hours, kneel, sit, bend, twist, turn, reach over your head, and have good finder dexterity.
