TRAX USA Corp. is a global leader in aviation software, seeks an entry-level Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist. The chosen applicant will be responsible for providing effective information for end-users and must be eager to learn and apply best practice technical communication techniques such as information gathering, task and audience analysis, process flow creation, and content delivery.
Job Summary:
As a Technical Writer you will be working closely with the Programming, Quality Assurance, and Product Support departments. You will take responsibility for coordinating and participating in the collection, interpretation, and writing of technical documentation, including operational process flows, end-user documentation, and computer-based training units for TRAX products. Occasional travel may be required. As you master the use of our software, you will develop and update the process and training documentation and online HTML help. This information must be well-written and must communicate efficiently to the end-user. When creating, updating, and enhancing the documentation, the Technical Writer will adhere to the style guidelines of the Technical Writing department, considering usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a background in aviation business, maintenance, or a general functional knowledge in the aviation industry.
Qualified applicants must demonstrate excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and an astute eye for detail. This position requires highly motivated individuals who can grasp complex software and learn quickly. It also requires the ability to work within tight deadlines and team-based environments.
