TRC is growing tremendously and seeking an Integrity Engineer - (REMOTE) to join our Integrity Engineering Services team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of integrity management programs for pipeline networks and facilities.
This opportunity is 100% REMOTE and can sit anywhere in the country or work out of one of our 150 locations IN THE UNITED STATES.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of Integrity or Mechanical Engineering experience in Reliability Engineering or Facility Maintenance. The candidate should be well versed in MAOP Calculations and experience working with Geographic Information System (GIS) applications such as ArcGIS or QGIS. This is an entry- to mid-level position, requiring some technical and communication skills, with a focus on client service. Gas Pipeline industry experience and previous experience working with GIS data are both highly desired not required.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze pipeline and GIS data using various software packages and tools to verify TVC (Total Viable Count) test and material documentation
- Assist with pipeline and facilities integrity program assessments and implementations
- Create processes and procedures to gather required documentation in work order packets.
- Work closely with customers to ensure projects exceed expectations and requirements
- Prepare technical reports and assist with proposal development
- Work seamlessly with internal teams and assist other groups as needed
Education & Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field; graduate degree a plus
- Must have 2-5 years of Integrity Engineering experience or similar Mechanical Engineering (Gas Pipeline) experience
- Experience working on MAOP Calculations
- Efficient in MS Office
- Geographic Information System (GIS) Software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Design Pressure Calculation experience
- Experience working with pipeline networks and facilities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work with minimum oversight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed, estimated 25%
Preferred Skills (Desired not Required):
- Working knowledge of pipeline standards and regulations including ASME B31.4 and B31.8 as well as 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195
- Database Experience (Oracle, SQL Server, SSMS, PL/SQL Developer, Access)
- Data Analytics Software (Tableau, Power BI)
- Programming Experience (VBA, Python, SQL)
