With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.
POSITION SUMMARY
TRC is seeking an Environmental Planner to join it's highly successful Planning, Permitting, and Licensing practice in theSan Francisco Bay Area (Concord, San Francisco, Oakland, San Ramon).
The successful candidate will bring 1 to 3 years of professional consulting experience providing planning, permitting, and licensing support to public and private sector clients in California.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Will act as staff member on preparing CEQA and/or NEPA related documentation and technical studies.
- Work could also include project compliance management for quality control/assurance, budget and timeframe/milestone management, and proposal support.
- The successful candidate will support a variety of project types including energy infrastructure, land use development, transportation infrastructure, and other projects.
- Abide by Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in land use planning, biology, ecology, environmental studies, or related field
- Have at least 1-5 years of relevant and associated body of work.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills are mandatory.
- Possess strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce, and GIS).
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to TRC's insurance carrier.
