TRC is looking for a Scheduler in Melville, NY to become a part of a team responsible for scheduling natural gas, LNG and/or electric distribution capital construction program activities within full project-cycle.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop cost forecasts and project schedules with input/ assistance of other project team members
- Update project schedules on a regular basis
- Perform financial analysis and prepare reports using Power BI combining date from SAP Database and P3 Schedules.
- Perform resource loading as required.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive and supportive attitude.
This is a hybrid position based in the Long Island, NY. This position will have flexibility for remote work but must also be available to work out of Melville, NY 2-3 days a week. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers full benefits.
Requirements:Required Skills & Required Experience
- A bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of energy or utility experience as a Scheduler.
- Experience using Primavera P6 v7.0 or higher for planning and/or scheduling.
- Experience in gas utility and LNG construction business and ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to understand and approve/accept schedules produced by EPC contractors.
- Experience using SAP and Power BI performing financial analysis and preparing reports.
- Ability to provide regular feedback working with the construction and project manager will be required.
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced design and construction environment.
