SUMMARY: To operate and care for the Security communication center. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Use a multi-channel radio network to receive / transmit messages, allocate resources and direct the assignment of Officers and other department staff
Receive and record radio, telephone and fax messages
Prepare reports and maintain logs and dispatch records
Monitor multiple alarm systems and close circuit cameras
Receive, acknowledge and validate alarms and initiate response teams as applicable
Oversee, maintain and verify the key control system ensuring system integrity and initiate investigation of alarms
Initiate requests for and direct off-property emergency response resources
Maintain and safeguard communication center equipment
Perform Officer duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
1-year experience and/or training in dispatching numerous individuals
Preferred:
1-year experience and/or training in law enforcement, security or related field

Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
