SUMMARY: To welcome guests and provide superior service. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests following rotation procedures
- Input guest reservations and work reservation system to maximize guest service and restaurant occupancy
- Ask the guest for feedback on their meal and invite them back as they depart
- Be knowledgeable of all Tado’s food items, including preparation descriptions
- Be knowledgeable of Tado’s wine list
- Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents
- Answer questions, and offer event and promotional information
- Assist with cleaning floors, arranging tables, clearing and resetting tables, filling water glasses and coffee cups and delivery of food
- Keep management updated on business flow
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties
Required:
- 6 months restaurant experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous guest service experience
- Knowledge of point-of-sales software
- Knowledge of Restaurant reservation system
