General Labor

SUMMARY:

Assist production in various tasks such as packaging, filling, dumping, and sanitation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

1. Fill, weigh, seal, package, label, palletize, and dump product.
2. Visually inspect product for defects, foreign material, and contaminates.
3. Visually inspect packaging for correct production date.
4. Keep adequate packaging pace with flow of product.
5. Follow palletizing scheme as determined by customer.
6. Clean and sanitize processing areas, sweep floors and remove debris, wash empty drums.
7. Maintain a Clean, Safe Work Area.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.

• The employee occasionally works in outside extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)
• The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
