Groundsman

At TreeWorks, a groundperson is responsible for collecting brush to feed into a woodchipper, assisting arborists, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring hazard-free work areas.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all maintenance duties allocated by the Foreman.
• Operate a chainsaw efficiently to cut brush, logs and stumps.
• Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions.
• Assisting Arborists with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposals.
• Using the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols.
• Adhering to company and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous work experience as a tree groundsman or similar. (Preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• CDL preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
