We work hard to coach our members to help them improve with each job with the goal of progressing skills to help them get more rewards. The faster you progress the more clients we can serve. Our roles are Laborer I, Laborer II, Apprentice, Journeyman, Lead Carpenter, and Master Craftsman.
At Trends our Laborer II is expected to take on additional responsibilities with experience. Our expectation is that Laborer II employees will promote to Apprentice within 6 months with additional opportunities for increases and promotions every six months.
We are Focused on Three Core Values
Our core values are note a bunch of words we throw on a wall somewhere and talk about once a year. These three values are how we approach our work each day and set the standard for how we deliver projects for our clients.
- Clean: Keeping our homeowners space clean is critical in our work. We expect our General Laborers to show up to the site clean and ready to work on time and ensure that we are always treating the space we work in with respect. This means maintaining a clean and safe space, always cleaning up and packing out at the end of each shift and treating our clients with respect in our communication and behavior.
- Transparent: Remodels doesn't always go as expected. Sometimes we find something unexpected that may result in a setback or make a mistake that can cause delays. We demand honesty in our dealings internally and with our clients. When you see something that isn't right we expect you share that in order to ensure we keep our client in the know about what is happening with their project and their space.
- Quality: Getting it right the first time is the motto we hold ourselves to. We don't take shortcuts unless they result in the quality our clients would expect. If a mistake is made we correct it. We don't make a bad cut and put it in place with the idea that we can hide it. We redo the cut and learn from the mistake.
