What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel LPN position at Treva Corporation?
Night shift: 3 7p-7a or 2p-10:30P X5 days. Long term care mixed with sub-acute care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and medication administration
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatments
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Assist in discharge planning and coordination of follow-up care
Experience:
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with a valid state license
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices
- Knowledge of standard nursing practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
